Best Practices for Information Professionals (2010 edition)

July 23, 2010

For those who haven’t seen it, LexisNexis just sponsored the assembly of a 2010 Best Practices book (231 pages) for Information Professionals, a digest of writings by more than 60 authors, each 2-3 pages long and a quick read.  Contributing authors include Cindy Romaine, David Shumaker, Laura Soto-Berra, and Karen Huffman.

Caveat emptor – it’s for Government Libraries, but I think a lot of these good articles will apply to the corporate information professional as well, including ROI, Sharepoint, and Developing Value.

Best of all, all this wisdom is free.  Get the PDF directly here.

This is a great find. The ROI articles and the blog post that you have here woudl be a great read before the CE course at the Sping Meeting in Orlando. We could have some wonderful discussions as part of the CE course.
