What are the Most Important Medical Journals? (from librarians & doctors)

April 19, 2010

Passing along a link from the SLA Biomedical & Life Sciences Division, which compared the most important medical journals as rated by both doctors (by specialty) and librarians (DBIO), as well as some commentary as to potential differences.

Where this also might be of use is to help answer the question of “What is the most read journal by (insert specialty here)”.  Here’s the link directly to the 2009 NEJM study.

Thanks to NEJM and SLA DBIO.
