Google – In the News
May 6, 2009
Two quick items in the news – one a tool for our toolbox, one an item to keep an eye on:
- Google’s public records search and visualization service went live a week ago, allowing access to US Census and BLS data as a first pass, with more to come.
- Also – the ALA is weighing in on the Google books settlement – with a concern that the Google books settlement may eventually lead to “skyrocketing” copyright costs due to monopoly.
