Study: College students rarely use librarians’ expertise
August 23, 2011
For those who missed it, ALA is getting some attention from a soon-to-be published set of reports conducted at Illinois Wesleyan, DePaul University, and Northeastern Illinois University, and the University of Illinois’s Chicago and Springfield campuses, demonstrating that students (especially digital natives) are severely underutilizing the library. This is great press for the library in general, but also is also a good resource for spillover into our corporate libraries as undoubtedly we see the same thing.
