Google Custom Search Engine: Advanced Configuration

Up on the Google Custom Search Blog is a set of newly released resources for deeper configuration of Google Custom Search Engine - enabling more finite control and allowing you to designate different weighting, biasing by date, and creating your own back-end thesaurus.

There is both a YouTube presentation and the slide handouts – both of which are great resources.

Initially, the CSE was simply a list of websites you wanted crawled.  Now you can really “make it your own”.  Fantastic stuff if used appropriately.
